How Seismic Scaled AI-Driven Prospecting Across Its Sales Team with ZoomInfo

The global leader in sales enablement made its top sellers' outbound results repeatable across the whole go-to-market team by layering AI-assisted prospecting on ZoomInfo data.

VANCOUVER, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZoomInfo (NASDAQ: GTM), the all-in-one AI GTM platform, has reported that Seismic, the global leader in sales enablement, scaled AI-assisted outbound prospecting across its go-to-market team on ZoomInfo, and in its own user surveys attributed 39% of active pipeline to opportunities identified or influenced by signals from ZoomInfo, according to the company.

Seismic runs a well-developed outbound model, where business development representatives and outside sales reps generate the majority of its pipeline, and accurate business data is the fuel that model runs on. The company has relied on ZoomInfo for more than five years, pushing steadily into more sophisticated outbound with buying signals to find prospects, deeper account research, and tailored messaging.

The results were strong, but they lived with the most experienced sellers. Seismic's leadership wanted to cascade those practices across the entire team, especially newer reps who had not yet built the same instincts. The company also set strong internal goals for AI adoption, expected of every employee and built into performance check-ins with managers. It needed a way to make its best outbound practices repeatable, and to put AI to work doing it.

Seismic layered AI-assisted prospecting on top of the ZoomInfo data its sellers already trusted. Rather than leaving each rep to research and interpret accounts alone, the AI proactively surfaces the insights that matter, telling sellers when to act, who to target, and what to say. It combines Seismic's own CRM data with ZoomInfo's external buying signals to craft specific, account- and persona-based messages. A newer rep can now open an account with the same context a veteran would assemble by hand, and prospects respond to that specificity right away, according to the company. Because it plugs into Seismic's existing tech stack, reps stay in the flow of work with less context-switching.

The results are both a time savings and a quality improvement. In its user surveys, Seismic's team attributed 39% of active pipeline to opportunities identified or influenced by ZoomInfo signals, reported being 54% more productive, and said they save an average of 11.5 hours per week, according to the company. Seismic also reports faster speed to lead, more targeted outreach, and better response rates from key prospects.

Seismic treats ZoomInfo as a core platform in its stack rather than one of many point solutions, and expects it to keep evolving as the company does. Its leadership frames the strategy plainly: not as many point solutions as possible, but a few key platforms significant enough to scale with.
