EndoQuest Robotics Appoints Jared Eben as Chief Commercial Officer
Medical device industry veteran and former HCA Healthcare executive to lead commercial preparations and health system partnerships for the investigational Endoluminal Surgical System
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EndoQuest Robotics, Inc., a developer of flexible robotic technology for endoluminal procedures, today announced the appointment of Jared Eben as Chief Commercial Officer. Eben will lead commercial strategy and health system partnerships as the company targets a 2027 U.S. launch of its Endoluminal Surgical (ELS) System, subject to FDA marketing authorization.
Eben previously served as Vice President of Robotics, AI and Neuroscience at HCA Healthcare and brings a rare blend of health system and medical device leadership to the company. He has nearly two decades of experience across surgical robotics, digital surgery, operating room integration, and healthcare technology commercialization. He has held executive, operational and commercial leadership roles at Allairo, Apella, HCA Healthcare, Proximie, Auris Health and KARL STORZ. Throughout his career, he has built commercial strategies around the clinical and health economic value of innovative products, established co-marketing and joint-selling partnerships among medical device companies, and forged strategic partnerships between device companies and health systems.
“Jared brings experience from both medical technology companies and health systems,” said Eduardo Fonseca, Chief Executive Officer of EndoQuest Robotics. “That perspective is essential as we prepare for commercialization. Our goal is not simply to place systems, but to help clinical teams build sustainable robotic endoluminal surgery programs.”
EndoQuest has completed enrollment in the PARADIGM Trial, the pivotal multicenter study evaluating the ELS System in colorectal endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), and is preparing a De Novo Classification Request. The U.S. coding environment for endoluminal procedures is also evolving, with dedicated Category I CPT codes for upper and lower GI ESD scheduled to take effect January 1, 2027.
“Successful robotic programs are built on more than promising technology,” said Eben. “My priority is to work with physicians and operational leaders on the training, workflows and program requirements needed to prepare for the upcoming adoption of robotic endoluminal surgery. Just as important is ensuring the clinical and economic value of this technology aligns for patients, physicians and health systems alike. EndoQuest has a rare opportunity to establish a new category of minimally invasive care, and I am excited to help shape how it is introduced into clinical practice.”
