Ashley is a driving force behind clinical informatics across the north central Pennsylvania region. Through hands-on training, frontline rounding, and proactive problem-solving, she helps care teams navigate complex workflows and improve day-to-day operations. From co-leading education initiatives to supporting go-live readiness and system enhancements, Ashley is known for breaking down complex workflows into simple, actionable steps ensuring clinicians are equipped to deliver safe, high-quality care.
Madison Carrara, BSN, RN, Senior IT Specialty Analyst in Nursing Informatics, Sentara Health
Madison has led a high-impact, nursing-driven digital transformation across her organization. She spearheaded the enterprise rollout of mobile communication technologies across 12 hospitals, helping streamline workflows and reduce friction at the bedside. By aligning technology with real-world nursing practice, Madison has enabled more efficient collaboration and a more connected, patient-centered care environment.
Miquette McMahon, RN, Firelands Regional Medical Center
Miquette exemplifies resilience, compassion, and purpose. Known for her deep empathy and commitment to patient advocacy, she brings both clinical expertise and human connection to every interaction. Beyond the bedside, Miquette is the founder of Teach Haiti, a nonprofit expanding access to education for hundreds of students. Her impact extends far beyond healthcare, reflecting a lifelong dedication to service and community.
HCA Healthcare Honorees
Mobile Heartbeat also recognizes three nurse leaders from HCA Healthcare whose work is advancing clinical communication, interoperability, and care coordination across complex health system environments.
- Seth Ard, MSN, RN, NI-BC, Director of Clinical Informatics, led the implementation of a cloud-native communication platform in a high-acuity hospital setting, enabling more efficient, real-time coordination across care teams and laying the groundwork for broader system adoption.
- Katiusca Conforme, MSN, RN, Director of Clinical Informatics brings more than two decades of nursing experience to her leadership in workflow optimization and technology adoption. She is a strong advocate for empowering clinicians to use technology to enhance patient safety and communication while also investing in professional development and community engagement.
