DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Imaginuity, a Dallas-based performance marketing company serving multi-location and franchise brands, announced today it has successfully completed a SOC 2® Type II examination and received an independent attestation report covering the operating effectiveness of its controls over a defined audit period.

SOC 2 is an attestation framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for service organizations that store, process, or transmit customer data. A SOC 2 report addresses controls relevant to the AICPA Trust Services Criteria categories: Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.

“More than ever, we are seeing that customers, prospects, and enterprise partners require this certification before they'll trust a vendor with their data or their business,” said Matt Sommer, Chief Technology Officer at Imaginuity. “Earning it strengthens our competitive position, opens doors to relationships that simply weren't available to us before, and shows both current and prospective customers that we take the protection of their data seriously.”
