MiQ Names Andy Barnet Managing Director, West as US Programmatic Business Grows

Respected industry sales leader joins MiQ to accelerate West Coast expansion as part of overall US growth initiative

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global programmatic media partner MiQ today announced the appointment of Andy Barnet as Managing Director, West, overseeing MiQ’s business in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Nevada. Joining from his most recent post as Senior Vice President at Cast Iron Media in Los Angeles, he brings with him a proven track record of leading successful sales teams, with a deep knowledge of the programmatic landscape and strong client relationships.

In his new role based in Los Angeles, Barnet will focus on expanded partnerships and new customer acquisitions across three core business areas for MiQ - holding companies, brands, and independent agencies - focused on the media and entertainment, automotive, QSR, travel and financial and fintech industries. His appointment comes at a pivotal time for the company, particularly in the US and West, which continue to show strong momentum—driven by global advances in innovation and AI, and as AI agents become increasingly vital in the advertising technology industry.

"I'm grateful Andy agreed to join us to lead our West operation,” said Marion Hargett, US Chief Revenue Officer, MiQ. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with him a few times in my career, and I know that his leadership, combined with our agnostic approach to adtech and the power of our new AI-driven platform, MiQ Sigma, will enable us to deliver truly customized solutions for our clients. I’m particularly excited for him to demonstrate how our platform can integrate with any technology stack and drive meaningful outcomes for our partners across the West.”

Barnet is a growth-focused media executive with deep expertise in leveraging technology, data, and advertising innovation to drive performance. With prior leadership roles at Cast Iron Media, Ampersand, Xandr, and NBCUniversal, Barnet has consistently delivered high-growth revenue strategies by combining cutting-edge technology, audience insights, and platform innovation, while building and leading high-performing teams across data-driven omnichannel platforms.

“As a client-focused professional passionate about delivering business outcomes, I’m thrilled to join MiQ and contribute to its mission of driving results through innovative, AI-powered omnichannel agnostic platforms. I’m really looking forward to engaging with the newly-launched MiQ Sigma, which gives clients a powerful advantage: the ability to plan, activate, and measure across multiple platforms without fragmentation—unlocking greater efficiency and performance,” said Andy Barnet, MiQ’s Managing Director, West.
