CG Life Acquires Philadelphia-Based Strategic Communications Agency McDAY

Agency’s 2^nd Acquisition in 2020 Adds Pharma Expertise, East Coast Presence

PHILADELPHIA & CHICAGO & DENVER & SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CG Life, an integrated marketing and communications agency focused on life science and healthcare, has acquired McDAY, a strategic marketing communications agency located in Philadelphia. CG Life made this acquisition following a standing, informal strategic relationship between the firms in order to expand its strategic communications expertise in the pharmaceutical and fine chemicals markets. This is the second acquisition CG Life has completed in 2020. The companies did not disclose financial terms.

Stipa, who purchased McDAY in 2015 when she was a client of the agency, is a former Roche process chemical engineer with more than 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Previously, she was SVP and Commercial Director for Foster Wheeler’s pharmaceutical division in Philadelphia.
