GE HealthCare debuts Allia Celeo, a ceiling-mounted interventional system designed for smooth procedural flow and AI-powered precision imaging

  • Extra-wide-bore, cable-less ceiling gantry and real-time digital twin aim to keep cases moving, regardless of procedure type or patient size
  • AI-powered precision imaging designed to automatically balance image quality and radiation dose in real time across 2D and 3D imaging
  • Designed to work with the GE HealthCare clinical applications and compatible third-party technologies care teams already rely on, with the flexibility to support future solutions
  • Predictive service support through OnWatch Predict, a deep learning-based technology designed to help minimize clinical operations disruptions for a reliable patient schedule

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GE HealthCare (Nasdaq: GEHC) today introduced Allia™ Celeo,* a ceiling-mounted image guiding system, at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2026 conference in San Diego. Developed around the principle of smooth procedural flow and built for interventional suites that prioritize high patient throughput and versatility across many indications, Allia Celeo pairs an extra-wide-bore C-arm with intuitive user interface, an AI-powered image chain, and compatibility with OnWatch™ Predict remote monitoring with the goal of helping cardiology and interventional radiology teams move through each stage of a procedure with greater confidence and without losing momentum.

“Every interventional suite has its own rhythm, and care teams need a system that adapts to the way they work rather than the other way around,” said Jyoti Gera, Chief Executive Officer, CardioVascular and Interventional Solutions (CVIS), Advanced Imaging Solutions (AIS), GE HealthCare. “Allia Celeo extends our Allia platform with a ceiling-mounted system built for that kind of flexibility, giving hospitals more choice in how they configure their interventional suites while supporting our vision for more personalized, precise care.”

Allia Celeo's slim, symmetrical ceiling gantry uses integrated cabling, providing space around the system for staff and equipment. Its extra-wide bore is designed to let the C-arm rotate freely around the patient and reach steep angulations, even for patients with a high body mass index (BMI). A slim C-arm and thin detector lift aim to limit visual obstruction so team members can see and communicate with one another across the table. Fast ceiling panning and extended table coverage support imaging from head to toe, while InnovaBreeze uses automatic table and gantry movements to support assessment of the full lower-limb anatomy in a single acquisition.

To help maintain procedural momentum, clinicians can adjust gantry and table positions from multiple locations, while an on-screen digital twin is designed to help optimize positioning. Personalized controls and layouts are designed to let clinicians tailor the system to their workflow.

The core of Allia Celeo is built on an image chain for the platform that includes AI-enabled features designed to support confident decision-making across patient anatomies and clinical complexities. It is designed to automatically adjust acquisition parameters with the goal of delivering consistent image quality at the lowest dose, and the advanced image rendering provides one-click access to highly differentiated cardiac image renderings designed to match each operator's preference.

“We designed Allia Celeo around a simple idea: a procedure should move at the pace of the care team, not the equipment,” said Kat Davis, General Manager, Interventional Solutions, CVIS, AIS, GE HealthCare. “From a digital twin that previews gantry positioning to an image chain that manages dose in the background, each element is intended to reduce the small interruptions that add up over a day in the interventional suite, so clinicians can stay focused on their patients.”

Allia Celeo is designed to be compatible with cleared GE HealthCare solutions that support coronary and structural heart procedures, including StentViz and 3DStenti for stent visualization, Valve ASSIST 2 for structural heart planning, and the cleared Mac-Lab hemodynamic system with integrated FFR and dPR indexes. For interventional radiology and oncology, compatible tools such as Embo ASSIST AI, Vessel ASSIST and Needle ASSIST are designed to support embolization planning, 3D roadmapping and needle guidance. The system also supports integration with Vscan Air™ handheld ultrasound and compatible third-party intravascular imaging and physiology systems and is built with the flexibility to support future solutions.ii

Beyond the procedure itself, Allia Celeo is designed to be compatible with OnWatch Predict, a GE HealthCare technology that combines 24/7 remote monitoring with deep learning-based predictive analytics to anticipate unplanned downtime and support proactive service planning, with the goal of minimizing disruptions to clinical operations and supporting more predictable patient schedules.

Allia Celeo is the second new system in the Allia family to be introduced in less than a year, following the floor-mounted Allia Moveo, unveiled in 2025 and commercially launched earlier this year, alongside an upgrade program that brings the latest Allia platform advancements to existing customers. Together, these additions reflect GE HealthCare’s ongoing evolution of the Allia family to address different clinical challenges in the interventional suite, with an AI-enabled portfolio designed to deliver patient access and precision imaging across a wide range of room configurations and procedure types.

* Allia Celeo is CE marked. It is 510(k) pending with the U.S. FDA, is not available for sale in the United States, and may not be available in all regions.
