Singleton Associates and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas Sign Long-Term Agreement to Protect In-Network Access to Radiology Care in Texas

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Singleton Associates, P.A. (Singleton Associates), a Radiology Partners-affiliated practice, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) have reached a new multi-year agreement, effective November 1, 2026.

This long-term agreement represents a significant achievement for patients, providers, and healthcare organizations across Texas, reflecting both organizations’ commitment to network stability, continuity of care and uninterrupted access to high-quality, in-network diagnostic and interventional radiology care.

Together, Singleton Associates and BCBSTX coordinated closely to reach an agreement, recognizing that fair, sustainable reimbursement and strong network relationships are in the best interests of patients, providers, health plans and the healthcare system as a whole.

“We commend BCBSTX for recognizing the realities of the severe, nationwide radiologist shortage and the importance of partnering to ensure sustainable rates and access to critical emerging technologies to preserve access, reduce total system cost and enhance detection of life-threatening disease,” said Dr. Byron Christie from Singleton Associates. “We are pleased to continue our partnership with BCBSTX and believe this agreement demonstrates what is possible when health plans and providers work together to solve complex healthcare challenges.”

Singleton Associates provides a broad range of hospital-based and outpatient imaging services across Texas, including 24/7 emergency radiology coverage and highly specialized diagnostic and interventional services. As a Radiology Partners-affiliated practice, Singleton Associates radiologists have access to advanced technology, artificial intelligence tools, quality programs, and clinical support resources that help deliver timely, high-quality care to patients throughout the state.

This agreement establishes a foundation for continued collaboration between Singleton Associates and BCBSTX and positions both organizations to advance high-quality healthcare delivery across Texas for years to come.
