Dr. Courtney Noah to present on the evolution of oncology biomarker discovery and the role of integrated multi-omic workflows in translational research
WOODBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BioIVT, a global research partner and biospecimen solutions provider for drug and diagnostic development, today announced that Courtney Noah, PhD, Vice President of Scientific Affairs at BioIVT, will present at Liquid Biopsy for Precision Oncology East Coast in Boston, MA. Her presentation, “The Evolution of Oncology Biomarker Discovery: Why Multi-Omic Strategies are Reshaping Translational Research,” will explore the shift in oncology biomarker discovery from single-analyte, genomics-focused methods to integrated multi-omic strategies. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, July 22 at 12 pm ET.
As precision oncology continues to evolve, translational research programs are increasingly looking beyond genomics-only approaches to better understand treatment response and disease progression. Noah’s session will examine the limitations of genomics-only approaches and demonstrate how combining analyte classes such as cfRNA, proteins, extracellular vesicles, and spatial tumor biology can enhance our understanding of diseases.
“Cancer therapies are becoming more advanced, so it’s critical that researchers get a clearer picture of what’s happening in the body,” said Noah. “DNA alone can’t always explain why a patient responds in a certain way, or why resistance develops. Attendees will leave with a practical framework for using multi-omic approaches to strengthen biomarker research.”
In addition to Noah’s session, BioIVT will have a dedicated table at the event where attendees can stop by to learn how the company can help them obtain high-quality control and disease state biofluids, tissues, and other biospecimens.
Throughout July, BioIVT will also attend several additional scientific and clinical research events, including:
- International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR), July 8-11 in Montreal, Canada, Booth 1002
- Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC), July 12-15 in London, England, Booth 1416
- Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM), July 26-30 in Anaheim, California, Booth 1621
