Life Line Screening Partners with San Bernardino County Second District to Expand Preventive Health Screenings
INDEPENDENCE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Life Line Screening and San Bernardino County Second District are partnering to expand access to preventive cardiovascular and stroke risk screenings for county employees, including public safety, fire, and law enforcement personnel, as well as residents throughout the District 2 region. The program is designed to help individuals identify underlying health conditions through simple, non-invasive screenings, supporting proactive health decisions before serious or costly events occur.
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, yet many related risks can be detected early. Through this partnership, Life Line Screening will host preventive screening events throughout San Bernardino County Second District, with the District sponsoring a designated number of appointments. This approach improves access to preventive care for working families, high-risk occupations, and residents who may not regularly receive routine checkups.
“Access to preventive health care is essential to building stronger, healthier communities,” said Supervisor Jesse Armendarez, San Bernardino County Second District. “Preventive care is one of the most impactful investments a county can make, and this partnership with Life Line Screening allows us to proactively support county employees, public safety personnel, and residents by identifying serious health risks early, before they become life-altering emergencies. We are proud to support efforts that prioritize prevention, early detection, and long-term community well-being.”
“Preventive screening can save lives by identifying cardiovascular disease and stroke risks before they become emergencies,” said Matt Miller, CEO of Life Line Screening. “The leadership of San Bernardino County’s Second District is taking meaningful action to protect the health of its community by increasing access to early detection. We’re proud to partner in this important work and help ensure more individuals have the information they need to make informed health decisions.”
