Life Line Screening and National Coalition of Labor Partner to Provide NCL’s Members Access to Stroke and Heart Disease Risk Screenings

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Life Line Screening and the National Coalition of Labor (“NCL”) are pleased to announce a partnership to provide NCL members with preventive health screenings that enable them to monitor risk for stroke, cardiovascular disease, and other underlying conditions. This customized program is designed to address the health needs and demanding work environments of union workers, helping members stay proactive about their long-term health and well-being.

“Union members are the backbone of our communities, and they deserve access to preventive screenings that keep them healthy and safe,” said Matt Miller, CEO of Life Line Screening. “Through this partnership with the National Coalition of Labor, we’re ensuring members have the tools to detect risks early and take control of their long-term health.”

“Hardworking men and women across the labor movement count on our bodies every day to get the job done,” said National Coalition of Labor Executive Director Ken Edwards. “We are committed to providing our members with cutting-edge tools to help them keep their bodies as healthy as possible. If these scans can help even one member get ahead of a serious medical condition, this partnership will be a great success.”

Through this program, NCL members receive access to Life Line Screening’s comprehensive preventive health services at a preferred rate. Members can choose to attend any of Life Line Screening’s 15,000 annual community-based events nationwide, while local unions also gain the option to offer screenings onsite or through a voucher program as a benefit to their workforce. This flexible approach ensures NCL members and their families can access screenings needed to stay proactive about their health.
