Hoguet Newman Regal & Kenney Elects Amory McAndrew Partnership

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hoguet Newman Regal & Kenney, LLP is pleased to announce that Amory McAndrew has been promoted to partner. The promotion was effective November 1.

“Amory is a leader inside and outside of HNRK, and we are proud to call her our partner,” said Dorothea Regal, founding partner of HNRK. “She consistently shows tremendous judgment in advising employers and executives on challenging issues, and she will bring that same wisdom to her leadership in the firm.”

An employment lawyer and commercial litigator, Amory advises employers and executives on all aspects of the employment relationship. She counsels clients on best practices in connection with the full spectrum of employment law issues, including developing employee handbooks, hiring and termination procedures; complying with wage-and-hour laws; granting accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act; and minimizing discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. Her clients vary in size from large businesses to startups, and span retail, fashion, technology, and other industries. She also frequently represents executives in negotiating employment and separation agreements.

Amory spearheads HNRK’s women’s initiative, developing strategies that further the firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion and growth of young talent, and was recently named to Profiles in Diversity Journal’s Women Worth Watching list. Outside of her responsibilities at HNRK, she serves on the board of directors of Tervis Tumbler, the family-owned maker of popular insulated drinkware. Her extensive community involvement includes service on committees of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital. She received her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law and a B.A. from Brown University.
