HarbourVest Partners Expands its Infrastructure and Real Assets Platform as Investor Demand for Private Markets Diversification Grows

Peter Larsen appointed Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure Distribution

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HarbourVest Partners, a global private markets asset manager, today announced the appointment of Peter Larsen as Managing Director and Head of Infrastructure Distribution. The appointment reflects the growth of HarbourVest’s infrastructure platform as investors increasingly look to diversify their private markets portfolios with non-correlated offerings.

Peter spent more than 17 years at Hamilton Lane in both investment roles and, more recently, as Managing Director, Real Assets leading capital formation across infrastructure and real estate in closed-end and evergreen strategies. He also previously served as a Partner with Atlantic-Pacific Capital, where he led fundraising and sales strategy for several years.

HarbourVest’s infrastructure platform was established in 2015, with closed-end and evergreen funds across primaries, secondaries, and co-investment vehicles. As the sector has grown and allocations to infrastructure have increased, HarbourVest has continued to invest in talent, technology, and offerings to meet investor demand.
