RAD Intel’s RADAR Puts Human Judgment to the Test in AI-Driven Marketing
The October edition, Think Again, follows three marketers as they use audience intelligence to decide where a brand should invest its creative resources and budget.
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RAD Intel, an AI-driven marketing technology holding company, today released Think Again, the October 2026 edition of RADAR, its editorial publication and generative engine optimization (GEO) content engine. The coverage examines how human judgment shapes marketing decisions when AI gives teams more information and more possible directions to consider.
RADAR gives us a way to share that experience and showcase the expertise across our portfolio.

As those options multiply, marketing decision intelligence helps teams evaluate them by combining audience research, behavioral insights, and AI-driven analysis. Putting that intelligence to work requires marketers to decide which findings are relevant to every campaign and what the evidence supports, all before committing creative resources or budget.
Think Again examines that judgment through an editorial exercise with three marketers from RAD Intel’s portfolio. Their responses show how the same research can lead to very different recommendations, depending on the opportunity each person sees and the questions they still need answered.
“Our marketing team is helping scale up to five brands at a time, so we’re constantly making decisions about audiences, creative, and where to invest our resources,” said Maria Brown, chief portfolio marketing officer at RAD Intel. “With Think Again, we wanted to show how those decisions get made when new research enters the picture. Whether you change the plan or keep it, you should be able to explain what the research strengthened, what it left unanswered, and what you need to test next. So that’s what we’ll do with every issue.”
How Audience Intelligence Shapes Human Judgment
The cover story, What Does It Take to Change a Marketer’s Mind?, puts those questions into practice with a LEGO campaign brief. Marketers from RAD Intel, AV Communications, and RAD Amplify each develop an initial recommendation before reviewing the same audience research generated by RAD Intel’s decision intelligence platform.
Once the research enters the discussion, their approaches diverge. One participant narrows her target audience. Another retains her recommendation because the findings leave key cultural questions unanswered. A third keeps her audience but develops a new creative approach. Each weighs the findings against the opportunity she wants the campaign to pursue.
Even the research’s largest behavioral finding has to pass that test. One audience was 184 times more likely than a random comparison group to build and share custom LEGO Technic mechanisms, yet that finding did not determine any participant’s final recommendation. Evidence of existing enthusiasm did not settle the question of how to attract buyers.
The responses give readers a close look at the reasoning behind a recommendation, including what the research strengthens and where it falls short. This small editorial exercise illustrates how intelligence informs judgment; it does not measure campaign performance.
“We gave three marketers the same research and asked them to explain what they would do with it,” said Carly Cowie, editor-in-chief of RADAR. “The most revealing part was how they decided which findings were relevant to the problem they were trying to solve. That reasoning is usually hidden behind the final recommendation. We wanted our readers to see it.”
The need to examine that reasoning extends to creative work in the accompanying feature, Creative Effectiveness and the Problem With Good Taste. Through examples including Coca-Cola’s AI-generated holiday advertising, it explores how marketers evaluate work when professional opinion, consumer testing, and predictive analysis point in different directions. A related video feature brings the discussion into a familiar creative decision-making scenario.
How RADAR Supports Generative Engine Optimization
Making that expertise easier to find is also central to RADAR’s role as a GEO content engine. Generative engine optimization is the practice of improving how content is discovered, understood, and referenced by AI-powered search and answer engines.
RAD Intel is using RADAR to explore how original reporting, clear content structure, and subject-matter depth influence visibility in AI-generated search results. Think Again supports that work with specific examples of how audience intelligence informs marketing decisions, giving readers original reporting they can examine and apply.
For RAD Intel’s portfolio, the broader goal is to make relevant expertise discoverable when people research a marketing challenge or evaluate potential partners. That includes Lickly, a RAD Intel company and self-service AI platform for marketing decision intelligence, alongside the agency expertise represented in RADAR’s reporting.
