2026 DGDG Invitational Drew NBA, MLB, and NHL Stars Alongside Country Music Headliners to Raise Funds for Bay Area Kids and Families

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DGDG Does Good Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Del Grande Dealer Group (DGDG), delivered a $1 million donation to Eat. Learn. The Invitational welcomed an all-star roster of athletes and entertainers, including NBA stars Steph and Seth Curry, seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens, NHL stars Auston Matthews, Joe Thornton, and Macklin Celebrini, PGA Tour player Max Homa, and more. Rounds of golf at Spyglass Hill and Pebble Beach Golf Links — two of the sport’s most storied venues — anchored the days, which also featured performances by recording artists Chase Rice, Russell Dickerson, Brett Young, and JP Saxe, plus comedian Jeff Dye.

“Every year this event grows because our community keeps showing up for the kids who need it most,” said DGDG CEO Jeremy Beaver. “Making meaningful donations to charities in our community, like Eat. Learn. Play. continues to be a core value for DGDG and we hope to continue this partnership for years to come.”

Eat. Learn. Play. works to unlock the potential of every child in Oakland and the greater Bay Area through three core pillars: nutritious food access, quality education, and safe places to play.

“We’re incredibly grateful to DGDG for making Eat. Learn. Play. the charitable beneficiary of the 2026 DGDG Invitational and for this extraordinary $1 million investment in Oakland students and families,” said Chris Helfrich, CEO of Eat. Learn. Play. “The Invitational is a powerful reflection of the partnership we’ve built together over the last several years that goes far beyond a financial commitment. DGDG regularly shows up alongside us in the community, volunteering and working shoulder-to-shoulder to help create a better school experience for a generation of Oakland students. That shared commitment to Oakland is what makes this partnership so special, and we’re so thankful.”

This year’s Invitational, held August 24-25 at Pebble Beach, marked the fifth year the DGDG Does Good Foundation hosted the event. Since its inception, the annual Invitational has pushed the foundation’s giving to Bay Area kids and families past $2.5 million. Presenting sponsors, BMO and First Hawaiian Bank, joined more than a dozen additional partners — including Cox Automotive, Merrill Lynch, Protective and Hearst Autos — in supporting this year’s event.
