Josephine Vaccarello Named President of MSG Entertainment

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) (NYSE: MSGE) announced today that Josephine Vaccarello has been named President of MSG Entertainment. In this elevated role, Ms. Vaccarello, who most recently served as the Company’s Executive Vice President, Live, will oversee the strategy and operations of multiple areas of the business as MSG Entertainment continues to focus on enhancing and expanding its portfolio of live experiences for the millions of guests welcomed to the Company’s venues at hundreds of events each year.

Ms. Vaccarello’s purview now includes oversight of the Company’s entertainment and sports bookings across concerts, family shows, comedy, performing arts, special events, and all non-New York Knicks and New York Rangers sports bookings, as well as the productions business, which includes the Radio City Rockettes and the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes. She will work closely with executive leadership to grow the business, including maximizing the event calendar and ticket sales and delivering unique experiences for artists and fans. In addition to her responsibilities at MSG Entertainment, Ms. Vaccarello will continue to oversee booking live concert residencies and touring acts at Sphere, which is owned by Sphere Entertainment Co. and is part of the MSG Family of Companies.

Ms. Vaccarello’s career with MSG Entertainment spans nearly 30 years in roles of increasing responsibility. She has been instrumental in creating new signature events, conceptualizing artist residencies, and delivering unique experiences for artists and fans at world-renowned performance venues: New York’s Madison Square Garden, Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, and Beacon Theatre; The Chicago Theatre; and Sphere in Las Vegas. This includes some of the most impactful residencies in recent history including Billy Joel’s 150-show franchise run at The Garden; Harry Styles’ ongoing 30-show residency at The Garden; and bookings at Sphere since U2 opened the groundbreaking immersive venue in September 2023. She has also been a key leader in enhancing the artist and audience experience in MSG Entertainment’s venues, including through advanced audio technology such as Sphere Immersive Sound, which made its concert debut at the Beacon Theatre before being introduced at Sphere and then at Radio City Music Hall.

Ms. Vaccarello began her career with the Company in 1998 as an administrative assistant. She is a graduate of SUNY, Albany with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
