Kustomer Launches Partner Certification Program to Expand Implementation Quality Across Its Growing Partner Ecosystem
New certification requires partners to pass Kustomer-graded assessments before delivering platform and AI implementations, giving customers a verified signal of delivery quality
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kustomer, the AI-native customer experience platform, today announced the launch of its Partner Certification Program, a new standard for verifying that implementation partners can deliver Kustomer and Kustomer AI correctly. The program requires partners to pass practical, Kustomer-reviewed assessments, not self-graded coursework, before they can independently implement the platform for customers.
"Customers need a way to know who can actually deliver that work well, and our best partners need a way to prove it." - Brad Birnbaum, CEO and Co-Founder of Kustomer

"As AI becomes core to every customer experience deployment, our partners are doing more of the hands-on implementation work than ever before," said Brad Birnbaum, CEO and Co-Founder of Kustomer. "Customers need a way to know who can actually deliver that work well, and our best partners need a way to prove it. This program gives both sides that confidence."
Implementation quality has become a growing concern as CX organizations increasingly rely on outside partners (BPOs, agencies, systems integrators) to deploy their support platforms and configure AI capabilities. Without a consistent standard, customers are often left evaluating partners on reputation or referral alone, with little visibility into whether a given team can configure AI-driven workflows correctly from day one. A poorly executed implementation can delay time-to-value for months and put an otherwise strong customer relationship at risk before it even begins.
The Kustomer Partner Certification Program changes that by requiring partners to demonstrate real, hands-on competency before certification is granted. Partners work through structured learning tracks covering platform fundamentals, implementation methodology, and AI configuration, then must pass graded assessments, including a practical exercise reviewed by the Kustomer team, to earn certified status. Certification is tied to specific tracks, allowing partners to specialize in full platform implementation or focused AI configuration work.
And for partners, the certification offers deeper access to Kustomer resources and go-to-market opportunities.
Key elements of the program include:
- Track-based certification – Partners pursue certification aligned to their business model, whether full Platform + AI implementation or focused Standalone AI configuration.
- Recurring recertification – Because the platform and AI capabilities evolve quickly, certification includes an ongoing cadence to keep certified partners current.
- Partner directory – A forthcoming directory will let customers search and filter for certified partners by specialization.
- Dedicated partner support – Certified partners get access to office hours, an escalation path to Kustomer's support and PS teams, and a partner sandbox environment.
With the Partner Certification Program, customers can:
- Reduce implementation risk by choosing a partner that has demonstrated proficiency under review, not just claimed it.
- Shorten time-to-value by working with partners who configure the platform and AI features correctly the first time.
- Find the right specialist by using certification tracks to identify partners suited to their specific implementation needs.
- Scale with confidence as their needs grow, knowing certified partners are held to a consistent, recurring standard.
"I've had a long history with Kustomer, both as an early customer and also a partner. I can honestly say it's truly been a pleasure working with the partner team at Kustomer,” Said Nino Cavenecia, Founder of Customer First BPO. “They are collaborative, supportive, hard-working professionals and you can tell they genuinely care. When they presented us with the opportunity to go even further and become a certified partner, we leapt at the chance. I'm very glad I made that decision, as this is a partnership we truly care about at Customer First and we look forward to our shared journey together."
The Kustomer Partner Certification Program is launching now with an initial cohort of strategic BPO and agency partners. Interested partners can contact their Kustomer partner manager to begin the certification process. Additional certification tracks and the partner directory are expected to roll out in subsequent phases.
