Hunt Military Communities Renovates 211 Homes at Kirtland Air Force Base, Delivering Modern Living Spaces for Military Families

Ribbon-cutting ceremony marks major progress on whole-home renovation project, bringing comprehensive interior and exterior upgrades to the Pershing Park community

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hunt Military Communities (HMC) recently celebrated a major milestone in the Pershing Park Whole Home Renovation Project at Kirtland Air Force Base with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the ongoing transformation of 211 homes for the military families stationed at the installation.

“Military families give so much in service to this country, and the quality of their homes should reflect that commitment." - Brian Stann, President & CEO, Hunt Military Communities

The project reflects HMC’s sustained commitment to reinvesting across its housing portfolio — an effort that has totaled more than half a billion dollars in capital improvement projects since 2024, including more than $190M in 2025. Construction at Pershing Park began in October 2024, with full completion expected in 2026, bringing comprehensive interior and exterior upgrades designed to modernize aging homes and meaningfully improve daily life for residents.

“Military families give so much in service to this country, and the quality of their homes should reflect that commitment. What’s happening at Pershing Park is part of a much larger, sustained effort to raise the standard across our entire portfolio — not just maintaining homes, but genuinely modernizing them. Our military families deserve that, and we’re proud to be delivering it through sustained investment.”
