MrBeast's Newest Mission: Saving Up to 1,000 Lives in One Day

The Blood Connection and Beast Philanthropy were inspired by a 19-year-old’s wish to host the most epic blood drive the city has ever seen.

GREENVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Beast Philanthropy, the charitable organization founded by Jimmy Donaldson (also known as MrBeast) has partnered with The Blood Connection to challenge the Greenville community to donate blood and help save up to 1,000 lives in one day. The blood drive, inspired by the wish of a young patient fighting leukemia, will be held on Tuesday, June 23, at the Greenville Convention Center in honor of the hundreds of thousands of children around the world battling blood cancers.

Every two seconds, someone in Greenville, NC needs a blood transfusion. From pediatric cancer patients, transplant recipients and trauma patients, the need for blood never ends. Through this event, MrBeast and The Blood Connection aim to provide lifesaving care for countless North Carolinians and educate fans about just how far one single blood donation can really go.
