Thumbtack Delivers Home Services Experience in Anthropic’s Claude

Claude users can go from getting home advice to hiring the right Thumbtack pro, all in a single experience

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Thumbtack announced a new integration with Anthropic’s Claude, bringing its home services marketplace directly into the AI assistant experience. Claude users on Free, Pro, and Max plans can now move from asking home-related questions to finding, comparing, and hiring top-rated local professionals from Thumbtack — all within the Claude interface.

Through the new integration, U.S.-based users can inquire about home maintenance, repairs, or upgrades, and Claude will surface relevant Thumbtack professionals based on their specific needs. By leveraging Thumbtack’s platform, the experience connects users to its network of more than 300,000 service businesses, including contractors, electricians, plumbers, cleaners, and more, within the existing conversation.

This integration builds on Thumbtack’s earlier work with AI platforms, including Amazon Alexa+ and OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Operator, reinforcing the company’s continued investment in making home services more accessible through the tools people already use.
