LifeStream Behavioral Center and Greenspace Health Partner to Advance Data-Informed Behavioral Healthcare Across Central Florida

Partnering to bring real-time Measurement-Based Care and data-driven insights to one of Central Florida’s largest behavioral health providers

TORONTO & LEESBURG, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Greenspace Health and LifeStream Behavioral Center, a leading nonprofit provider of behavioral health and social services in Central Florida, have partnered to implement Measurement-Based Care (MBC) across LifeStream’s full continuum of programs. The collaboration will leverage data-driven insights and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) within the care process to improve service quality and clinical outcomes for thousands of individuals served across Lake, Citrus, Sumter, Orange, Marion, and Hernando Counties.

LifeStream, a CARF-accredited organization, offers inpatient, outpatient, residential, education, and primary care services, supporting nearly 41,000 individuals annually through over 543,000 direct care visits. With more than 65 diverse programs expanding across 35 locations, LifeStream provides care to some of Florida’s most complex populations.

Through the partnership, LifeStream will leverage Greenspace’s MBC platform to collect and analyze PROMs in real time, helping clinicians and clinical leaders align treatment pathways with client needs, identify clients at risk, track progress throughout treatment and to inform clinical discussions and treatment decisions. Greenspace’s MBC platform integrates directly with LifeStream’s EHR, Streamline SmartCare, which reduces administrative burden, maintains clinical workflows and data integrity by ensuring the EHR remains the source of truth for all client information.

The implementation is part of the Florida Behavioral Health Association’s coordinated Measurement-Based Care initiative with Greenspace Health, alongside other leading organizations across the state, including Centerstone Florida and David Lawrence Centers. The collaborative initiative is aimed at standardizing evidence-based outcome measurement across member organizations to help improve behavioral health care quality statewide. At LifeStream, MBC will enable:

• Data-informed Decision-Making: Dashboards and playbooks to guide data use at clinical and leadership levels to enhance clinical outcomes.
• Continuum of Care Alignment: Risk flags and outcome trends (eg. off-track clients or clinically significant deterioration) to inform referrals and transitions across programs.
• Enhanced Client Engagement: Visual progress tools to help clients see their progress over time, better understand their mental health and foster improved client engagement and a client-centered approach to care.
• Quality and Accountability: Aggregate outcome data leveraged to inform continuous quality improvement and demonstrate impact to funders, accreditors and community stakeholders.
