HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IntuiTap Medical, a medical device company focused on improving the accuracy and efficiency of lumbar punctures and intrathecal drug delivery, announced the appointment of Ric Cote as Executive Chairman of the Board.
IntuiTap Medical names Ric Cote as Executive Chairman, strengthening the company’s leadership as it advances technology for precision in epidurals, lumbar punctures, and intrathecal drug delivery and enters its next phase of growth.

Mr. Cote brings decades of leadership experience in the medical device industry, with a track record spanning company building, commercialization, strategic growth, and successful exits. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at Channel Medical Systems, where he led the company through FDA approval, global regulatory milestones, and multiple financing rounds. Across his career, he has held senior executive and board roles supporting medical technology companies from early clinical and regulatory stages through scale-up and value-creating outcomes.
