Resultant Named to Inc. Magazine's 2025 Best in Business List for Social Good

Recognition highlights Indiana’s AI-powered workforce engine, Pivot, that's driving measurable economic mobility

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Resultant, a leading technology and data analytics consulting firm, today announced it has been named to Inc. Magazine's 2025 Best in Business list in the "Social Good" category. The recognition honors Pivot, Indiana's AI-powered workforce recommendation engine developed in partnership with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, which is delivering measurable wage increases and strengthening the state's economic competitiveness.

"This recognition validates what we've believed from the start: sophisticated technology deployed with empathy can create real economic opportunity." - John Roach, president, Resultant

Inc.'s Best in Business Awards is an annual program recognizing exceptional companies, projects, and initiatives across industries. Resultant joins companies like Anthropic, Resy, and WHOOP on the 2025 list.

"This recognition validates what we've believed from the start: that sophisticated technology deployed with empathy can create real economic opportunity," said John Roach, president at Resultant. "Pivot is just one example of how AI, machine learning and advanced analytics can be catalysts to help real people build better careers and stronger communities."

Pivot users who voluntarily chose to pursue their top recommended job saw wage increases of $3.98 per hour compared to just $1.42 per hour for non-participants, translating to more than $8,000 in annual wage increases. These outcomes contribute to Indiana's strong economic indicators, including an unemployment rate of 3.6% and labor force participation of 63.7%, outperforming national averages (4.2% and 62.2%, respectively). While multiple factors drive these results, innovative workforce tools like Pivot are part of why Indiana has risen into CNBC's Top 10 states for business in 2025.

Pivot has already earned national accolades, including recognition in 2025 as a State IT Innovation of the Year from StateScoop. It has also been featured at conferences including Google Next and the National Association of State Workforce Agencies, establishing it as a national model for data-driven workforce development.

“Each Best in Business honoree achieved a breakthrough moment this year. Some unveiled groundbreaking innovations while others launched savvy marketing campaigns or strategically implemented AI in their companies,” says Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc. “No matter what their business win looked like, their projects and initiatives had a sizable impact on their company and even on their industry at large, making them worthy of this honor.”
