Sightview to Unveil New Design, User Experience at AAO 2025

Product enhancements developed in collaboration with eyecare providers can be previewed at top ophthalmology conference

DURHAM, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sightview, the only electronic health record and practice management partner focused solely on eyecare, will provide attendees an exclusive first look at its new user interface at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) 2025 conference (Oct. 18-20, 2025). In addition to applying a cleaner, more modern look and feel to its existing products, the new UI incorporates multiple workflow and efficiency changes, developed and tested in collaboration with Sightview users.

“We wanted to be as collaborative as possible with our clients. The result is a cleaner-looking interface that helps eyecare providers work faster within the system," said Casi Nestelroad, VP of product management at Sightview.

“It was important that we maintain the integrity of the workflows and features our users love, like charting. We also recognize there were areas to improve, and we wanted to be as collaborative as possible with our clients,” said Casi Nestelroad, VP of product management at Sightview. “The result is a cleaner-looking interface that helps eyecare providers work faster within the system.”

The updated design simplifies the legacy Sightview product interface and incorporates new company branding launched earlier this year. Sightview also worked closely with key opinion leaders and eyecare providers to enhance current workflows with minimal disruption. The update includes easier to navigate patient-at-a-glance pages, along with a variety of customizations that will enable providers to adapt the tool to their preferred processes.

“Sightview already boasts some of the most established, industry-recognized technologies for both ophthalmologists and optometrists. But all solutions must adapt with the times,” said Tycene Fritcher, CEO of Sightview. “Sightview is committed to constant innovation and collaboration with leading eyecare providers to ensure our solution is as effective as possible at addressing today’s eyecare technology needs.”

Current Sightview clients can opt-in to be the first to experience the new user interface updates, which will be made available in Q1 2026. The updates will roll out to other clients automatically following the initial launch. Interested parties can view the new updates and speak to Sightview’s ophthalmic technology experts in booth #1341, where the team will lead hourly presentations throughout the show.
