Frontgrade Opens DLA-Certified Manufacturing and Servicing Capabilities to Outside Customers

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontgrade Technologies, a leading provider of high-reliability electronic solutions for space and national security missions, is extending access to its Colorado Springs manufacturing facility for third-party microelectronics. Potential customers seeking microelectronics manufacturing support for their aerospace and defense programs are now able to benefit from Frontgrade’s 30-plus years of proven manufacturing, packaging, testing, and qualification expertise across various industries.

Frontgrade’s Colorado Springs location is certified by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to manufacture Qualified Manufacturers List (QML) Class Q, V, Y, and T microelectronic products per MIL-PRF-38535, ensuring high reliability. Frontgrade is also offering access to its facility’s 5,100 square-foot cleanroom which is certified as Class 1000, the equivalent of ISO-6 classification, the fourth cleanest environment according to federal 209E standards. With the site’s additional classification of 1A ESD Control, sensitive electronics are protected from electrostatic discharge events with voltage ranges of 250 to less than 500 volts.
