Columbus Eating Disorder Professionals Roundtable: Explore Eating Disorders and the Brain

A discussion on the importance of understanding the neurobiology of eating disorders for effective treatment and recovery

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Emily Program, a national leader in eating disorder specialty care and behavioral health services, today announced its upcoming Columbus Eating Disorder Professionals Roundtable event, “Eating Disorders and the Brain: An Experiential Psychoeducation Seminar.” This complimentary seminar for eating disorder and mental health professionals will be held in person on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at The Emily Program Columbus Center, located at 8001 Ravines Edge Court in Columbus.

Local care providers Megan Merrells, MS, RD, LD, and Jenny Beck, LPPC-S, will lead the seminar, providing participants with insights into the emerging neurobiological research of eating disorders. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the multidimensional nature, development, and maintenance of these illnesses, as well as how this knowledge can inform techniques to support recovery.
