Bond Vet Welcomes Dr. Zander Bennett as Senior Vice President of Operations

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bond Vet is thrilled to welcome Dr. Zander Bennett as the new Senior Vice President of Clinic Operations. With over 20 years of experience in veterinary hospitals, Dr. Bennett is deeply passionate about elevating the veterinary profession and improving access to care. His experience spans primary care, urgent care, multi-specialty, and emergency medicine, giving him a well-rounded perspective on what veterinary teams need to thrive.

Dr. Bennett has dedicated his career to finding innovative ways to improve veterinary operations and the overall experience for both clinic team members and pet parents. He has played a key role in launching new hospital locations, building high-performing teams, and developing technology solutions to improve veterinary care. As a co-founder, he successfully launched a de-novo urgent care brand, opening 25 locations while building hospital teams from the ground up. This highly engaged team delivered best-in-class client experience and quality medical outcomes in the communities they served.

“I’m honored to join Bond Vet and be part of a team that’s so committed to making veterinary care more accessible and sustainable,” said Dr. Bennett. “What drew me to Bond Vet is their passion for innovation and their ability to embrace change to better serve pets, pet parents, and veterinary teams. I look forward to working with this talented group to advance the profession forward.”

Dr. Bennett earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University and completed a Small Animal Internship at North Carolina State University. He was recently admitted to Wharton and will begin his MBA program this spring.

At Bond Vet, Dr. Bennett will focus on business strategy and clinical operations, enhancing the client experience, expanding virtual services and telehealth, talent acquisition, and leading de-novo planning for new locations.

“Dr. Bennett is a visionary leader who understands both the medical and operational sides of veterinary care,” said Garrett Lewis, CEO at Bond Vet . “His ability to think outside the box, build strong teams, and deliver top-quality care makes him a fantastic addition to Bond Vet. We are excited to have him on board.”

As Bond Vet continues to grow, Dr. Bennett’s leadership will help shape the future of the veterinary experience — ensuring that teams are supported, pets receive excellent care, and clients have the best possible experience.
