Newsweek Recognizes Mediacom Communications Among America’s Greatest Workplaces for Mental Wellbeing

MEDIACOM PARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mediacom Communications announced today that it has been recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Mental Wellbeing 2024 in a survey published by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group. This survey included over 250,000 young professionals and more than 1.5 million company reviews.

The ranking is based on an extensive data analysis, including an assessment of public data, feedback from HR executives, confidential employee surveys, and key performance indicators related to mental health programs and work-life balance.

This recognition is a testament to Mediacom’s sustained efforts and commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment.

“I’m extremely proud that we’ve created a work culture that prioritizes the needs of our employees,” said Italia Commisso Weinand, Mediacom’s Executive Vice President of Programming and Human Resources. “The corporate initiatives we’ve implemented have resulted in significant increases in overall employee satisfaction, including mental health.”

“Mental wellbeing is an increasingly important concern for U.S. workers—which means it's increasingly important for U.S. employers as well,” said Newsweek Global Editor in Chief Nancy Cooper. “To spotlight the organizations prioritizing the mental wellbeing of their employees, Newsweek has partnered with data researcher Plant-A for the inaugural ranking of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Mental Wellbeing, highlighting companies making a positive difference in the mental wellness of their workers.”
