2024 TRENDY TAIPEI – JAM JAM ASIA cross-national festival to ignite music exchanges in Asia

TAIPEI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--From Sept. 2 to Sept. 8, Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan will host 2024 "TRENDY TAIPEI—Music X Innovation", the pilot edition of a mega multinational festival, consisting of 13 highlight events related to music and TV entertainment, live music performances, digital marketing and the tech industry. Music performances by more than 100 groups and more than 50 forums and speeches will be held to showcase the city’s cultural pluralism and spirit of innovation.

An important component of the festival, JAM JAM ASIA will take place on Sept. 7 and 8 at Taipei Music Center. Fifty groups of musicians from all over Asia will help promote musical exchange in Asia and the internationalization of Taiwanese music. The festival is not just about concerts but it is a confluence of music and art, bringing together artists and fans from different backgrounds to enjoy the passion of music.

Stars in the line-up include ASMRZ from South Korea, who will perform their star-making signature work “Good night, Ojosama,” and Japanese bands Cody・Lee and Billyrrom, who will present music with an exotic flavor. In addition, Polycat and Only Monday from Thailand, Suboi, the queen of rap from Vietnam, and other renowned artists such as SIRUP and Hakubi from Japan, will also take the stage to demonstrate the variety and creativity of Asian music. As part of the Asia Limited co-star project, Thick Big Band of Taiwan and Cody・Lee will share a stage while ddkogi88 and BSB, Taiwan’s new hip-hop stars, and DADA, a female vocalist from South Korea, will perform together to highlight the charm of cross-cultural musical exchange.
