Resilience Healthcare to Implement Altera Digital Health’s Paragon® EHR and Ventus Solutions

Chicago-area health system to gain fully integrated EHR, compliance and revenue cycle solutions

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altera Digital Health, a global health IT leader, today announced that Resilience Healthcare, a health system serving the Chicago metropolitan region, has signed an approximately seven-year contract to leverage the company’s Paragon® electronic health record (EHR) platform, designed for community hospitals. Additionally, the organization will implement Altera’s Ventus Contract Management, Ventus Compliance Advisor and Ventus Intelligent Coding solutions to optimize revenue and reduce compliance risk.

With a commitment to high-quality care and community, Resilience Healthcare operates West Suburban Medical Center, a 239 bed safety-net hospital based in Oak Park, Ill., Weiss Memorial Hospital, a 236-bed safety-net facility located in the North Side of Chicago, and a satellite location in River Forest. The organization offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services. Previously, Resilience Healthcare used different EHR systems for acute and ambulatory care. With Paragon, the organization will gain an integrated clinical, financial and ambulatory solution across all care settings as well as clinical decision support tools at the point of care. Paragon is delivered in the Azure cloud, providing healthcare organizations with a reliable, scalable system bolstered by Microsoft’s advanced security controls.
