Members, Employees and Industry Experts Share Knowledge and Form Connections at HealthTrust Connect

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HealthTrust Performance Group℠, a provider owned and operated improvement organization for healthcare, hosted its 2023 HealthTrust Connect event on October 19, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee. The event gathered HealthTrust employees, members, project teams, trade partners and facility managers to explore the dynamic world of healthcare construction, facility operations and sustainability.

The primary goal of the event was to facilitate connections between vendors, owners, industry partners and the GPO in an effort to advance member projects and programs. Participants engaged in discussions and knowledge-sharing, fostering greater industry collaboration and idea generation.

This year, HealthTrust Connect featured a lineup of industry experts who shared insights in a keynote session and panel Q&A focused on sustainability in healthcare, including discussion around future demands for new products and technology in sustainability. This session included:

  • Libbi Lee, Partner, McKinsey & Co. – HealthTrust Connect keynote speaker, who co-leads McKinsey’s global work on healthcare sustainability, helping companies drive sustainable long-term growth and integrating environmental and social topics into core business strategy and transformation programs across the globe.
  • Andy Woommavovah, National Director for Facilities and Construction Services, Trinity Health – Mr. Woommavovah is responsible for developing and leading a national facility management and construction program across Trinity Health’s 88 hospitals and hundreds of other care sites. He has more than 30 years of experience in facility management and construction.
  • Damian Skelton, Vice President of Facilities and Construction, Hospital Sisters Health System – Mr. Skelton has more than two decades of experience in facilities management and oversees all HSHS facilities’ design and construction, engineering, and sustainability programs
  • Shay Rankhorn, Partner, FD Energy Solutions – With a career spanning over 25 years, Mr. Rankhorn’s expertise encompasses facilities management, engineering, design, construction, infrastructure, and real estate. As a partner at FD Energy Solutions, he commissions services, facility condition assessments, mock surveys, plan reviews, and more to ensure success for clients across verticals.

Attendees also had the opportunity to engage with more than 40 vendors showcasing their product offerings in healthcare construction, facility management and sustainability.
