2023 Sweet Biopharma Day Winner is Epitopea!

LAVAL, Québec--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BIOQuébec, CQDM, Fonds de solidarité FTQ and adMare BioInnovations, co-organizers of Sweet Biopharma Day, are pleased to announce that Epitopea, represented by Steven Klein, is the winner of the 2023 edition. Sixteen Canadian startup companies (“Sweet 16”) selected by representatives from global pharma companies, made an elevator pitch in front of 120+ participants, who voted for Epitopea as the winner of Sweet Biopharma Day 2023 and of the $2,500 grand prize.

This year, the in-person event was under the sweet flavour of the maple and hosted in a traditional sugar shack in the Quebec province. Twenty-nine proposals were received and the selected Sweet 16 presented innovative and disruptive life science technologies all with the same intent of improving patients’ quality of life and finding cures for diseases.
