Jimmy Palacios Joins Sonrava Health as Chief Digital Officer

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jimmy Palacios has joined Sonrava Health as Chief Digital Officer, effective March 6. Sonrava Health is a national family of health and wellness companies – including differentiated dental office brands, dental and vision benefit plans, provider networks, and consumer products and services – focused on quality, value and innovation.

Mr. Palacios comes to Sonrava Health from Deloitte Consulting's Customer & Marketing practice, where, as a Digital Program Leader, he assisted public healthcare and insurance companies in identifying and executing digital strategies to drive sustainable growth. Before that he served as the Product Director – Digital Energy Enablement Platform (DEEP) at Ernst & Young. There he led transformation programs primarily within the upstream oil and gas sector, helping them with digital strategy, business process discovery, system design and implementation. DEEP was awarded Microsoft’s Industry Solution of the Year for Energy in 2020. Earlier in his career, he held positions as a MS Dynamics Practice Leader with IBM and Vice President – US Operations (via acquisition), for NTT Data.

During his service in the United States Navy, he was a certified Reactor Technician, while serving as a Reactor Operator/Reactor Plant Supervisor onboard the USS Nimitz. He received the Navy Achievement Medal for his work as the technical lead during the end-of-life testing program. The program assisted the engineers at Bettis Atomic Power Laboratories with future state designs and subsequent development of nuclear power plants for the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Palacios earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Webster University, St. Louis, and a Master of Business Administration from University of Notre Dame. He also attended Naval Nuclear Power School, a rigorous academic program required for U.S. Navy shipboard nuclear power plant operation and maintenance.
