ZEDEDA Introduces New Edge Academy Certification Program

ZEDEDA Certification Program validates skills as part of ZEDEDA Edge Academy, the industry’s first learning center for edge computing

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZEDEDA, the leader in edge orchestration, today announced the ZEDEDA Certification Program, a new certification for customers, partners and employees who would like to validate their knowledge, skills and abilities with the company’s edge solution.

The ZEDEDA Certification Program (ZCP) includes a series of exams that test the user’s skills in ZEDEDA’s edge orchestration solution and best practices. It debuts as part of ZEDEDA Edge Academy, the industry’s first free online hub with educational resources on edge computing.

Freitas said the first exam in the ZCP certifies that the successful candidate has the essential knowledge, skills and abilities to perform end-to-end configuration, implementation and operational management of ZEDEDA enterprise solutions as a ZEDEDA administrator to meet edge orchestration requirements.

“Today we have our first exam, the ZEDEDA Edge Orchestration Professional, which is aimed at ZEDEDA administrators and dives deep into our solution,” Freitas said. “Next, we will design and develop a new certification offering targeted at a wider audience to drive a fundamental understanding of edge orchestration and management industry concepts. We believe this is a critical step for first adopters of the edge and a must-have in the ZCP.”

The ZCP program is free for a limited time. Training and exam preparation materials are currently free, but only for a short time. Once acquired, the ZCP is valid for two years.

Details about the certification program, including exam blueprints, prep materials and instructions on how to get certified, are available at ZEDEDA Edge Academy. Those interested in getting certified can enroll and register for an exam date and time. Exams are administered via a global network of exam proctors and are available for scheduling at any time.
