AVer Europe Showcases World’s First Detachable 4K 8MP Handheld Camera for Telemedicine at MEDICA Expo 2022

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AVer Europe, an award-winning provider of education and video collaboration technologies, will be exhibiting its Connected Health Solutions at MEDICA, the world’s largest event for the medical sector, in Düsseldorf, Germany between 14^th and 17^th November.

With a patient centric design and the intention of reducing costs for healthcare systems, AVer’s MD330U camera features the world’s first detachable 4K 8MP handheld camera head to perform patient assessments accurately. A first in the industry, the removable camera head makes 360-degree angle close-up shooting and snapshots possible.

During the pandemic, AVer’s PTZ cameras were used in the intensive care units of a hospital in New Taipei City, Taiwan. AVer’s solutions enabled medical staff to monitor the physiological symptoms of patients remotely, reducing unnecessary entries into patients’ wards and minimising the overall risk of infection. The AI Acoustics embedded on the integrated microphones and speakers provided seamless two-way communication between patients, physicians and even family members from outside the hospital.
