Simulmedia, Inc. Appoints Dina M. Roman to Lead Sales Team

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Simulmedia, Inc., the industry leader in cross-channel TV advertising, today announced that Dina M. Roman has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Sales. Ms. Roman comes to Simulmedia after serving as Chief Revenue Officer at Sharethrough, an omnichannel ad exchange, where she led the global sales organization. Prior to that, she served as Executive Vice President & General Manager – Video Studios and Advertising Sales at IDG (International Data Group), where she applied her two decades of digital video technology and content expertise to the vision, launch and operational leadership of the company’s multi-brand video business.

At Simulmedia, Ms. Roman will be responsible for the management and direction of the Sales team, reporting to Chief Revenue Officer Lauren Fry. “We are thrilled to have Dina take the lead on our Sales team,” said Ms. Fry. “With her proven track record of growing businesses and her deep experience as a people manager, we’re confident that she will help us accelerate our growth and demonstrate the value of integrated linear and connected TV advertising to both new and existing clients.”

In addition to her roles at Sharethrough and IDG, she previously led go-to-market revenue strategies for video technology start-ups Brightcove and Adap.tv and built new revenue streams and top-grossing digital products for renowned multi-platform media companies such as The New York Times, Disney, Discovery Communications and Scripps Networks Interactive.

Ms. Roman has been active in IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) initiatives and in Digital Content Next, the nonprofit international trade association for the digital content industry. She was also on the steering committee for IDea, an early interactive TV consortium. She is a graduate of Fordham University.
