Three Premier Optometry Practices in Florida Partner with US Eye

SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Three established optometric practices in Florida have partnered with US Eye. The new partnerships include Rick Billings, O.D., Hart Eye Care, and Precision Eye Care of Central Florida. All practices have a long history of providing personalized patient care in the communities they serve.

Rick Billings, O.D., is a solo practitioner in Sarasota, Florida. He has been serving patients for decades from his office in South Sarasota. Andrew Hart, O.D. and Brenda Hart, O.D., founders of Hart Eye Care, have both been practicing in Fort Myers since 1993. Precision Eye Care of Central Florida, located in Altamonte Springs and Mount Dora, was founded in 1974 and employs two optometrists, Jennifer Hill, O.D. and Kaitlyn Smith, O.D.

“These three practices, although new to the US Eye network, are not new to the patients and communities they serve. I am honored to partner with long-time providers of exceptional patient care, all of whom have established themselves as leading optometric physicians in the region,” said David Shoemaker, M.D., CEO of US Eye. “We seek to partner with skilled, passionate and dedicated eye care providers; key qualities our new team members inherently possess. We are simply delighted to expand our team as we continue to deliver unsurpassed eye care to patients in Florida, our home state.”

The practices will integrate their operations with the US Eye model to enrich patient care and expand service offerings, while maintaining the same close personal relationships each provider group has built with their patients over the years. With the addition of Dr. Billings, Hart Eye Care and Precision Eye Care of Central Florida, US Eye operates 57 clinics and five surgery centers across the Southeast United States.
