ZeroFOX’s Senior Director of Threat Intelligence leads RSAC session to detail cybercrime activity and prevention

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZeroFOX, leader in External Threat Intelligence and Protection, today announced the company’s presence at RSA Conference 2021, being held virtually from Monday, May 17th through Thursday, May 20th. At the event, ZeroFOX will present phishing kit research and threat intelligence trends of 2020 and 2021. Sessions will be led by ZeroFOX’s Senior Director of Threat Intelligence Zack Allen, Vice President of Services James Carnall, and Senior Director of Threat Analysis and Investigations Olga Polishchuk.

On Tuesday, May 18th from 10:50-11:30 a.m. PT, Zack Allen will host the “My Phishing Kit Burnbook” session, where he will dive into a year’s worth of phishing kit research and the organized crime groups behind them. Reflecting the company’s investment in both automated and HUMINT dark web monitoring, domain protection and continuous domain monitoring, ZeroFOX will add to its ongoing phishing kit research, including a previous investigation of 16Shop activity. Allen will explore best practices for phishing detection, surface web monitoring and overall threat intelligence.

“Our team at ZeroFOX is looking forward to unveiling our phishing kit research to the audience of security decision-makers and practitioners at RSA Conference,” said Zack Allen, Senior Director of Threat Intelligence at ZeroFOX. “Over the past year, we’ve taken a close eye to phishing kit deployment and cyber-criminal operations. We will arm session attendees with critical background on, and best practices to overcome, these crime group behaviors.”

ZeroFOX’s James Carnall and Olga Polishchuk will also participate in an on-demand 30-minute session, “A Year in Threat Intelligence: 2020 Threat Trends and 2021 Predictions.” Within, they will discuss the major cybersecurity events of 2020, threat intelligence’s role in understanding these events and 2021 predictions for supply chain attacks, ransomware attacks and return to office.
