ATLANTA & WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Resurgens Technology Partners has acquired the Assurance Business Continuity Management Planning (BCMP) software business from Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS) in a transaction that positions Assurance for further growth and expansion of its market leadership position.

The Assurance Continuity Management offering, whose foundation relies on more than a decade of collaborating with customers on some of the most complex and demanding business continuity challenges across the globe, has been completely replatformed to become a state-of-the-art, multi-tenant SaaS solution utilized by the Assurance Software customer community. The new SaaS platform combined with dozens of additional product updates over the last several years, allows users to better execute disaster recovery plans and communicate among team members.
