LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--j2 Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: JCOM), a leading Internet information and services company, announced the appointment of Dan Stone as President of its Everyday Health division.
Mr. Stone is a well-respected digital health and media executive having served as Chief Executive Officer of Accent Health, a leading point-of-care healthcare media company. He led the digital transformation and growth of Accent Health during his seven-year tenure which ultimately culminated in the sale of the business to a strategic buyer. Prior to Accent Health, Mr. Stone served as Chief Executive Officer of Imaginova, a digital-media company operating in the science and technology space. During his seven years at Imaginova, he helped reinvent the company as it became one of the first businesses to pursue a commerce-driven content model, a hallmark of j2’s Digital Media business.
Prior to Imaginova, Mr. Stone was General Manager of the Media & Entertainment division of Scient Corp.; Executive Vice President of Turner Broadcasting System’s international and interactive groups; and served in financial advisory and strategic consulting roles at Amsterdam Pacific Corp. and Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Mr. Stone has been an industry leader as a founding member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the Point-of-Care Communication Council.
