DT Research Unveils LT365PA Rugged Laptop Bringing NVIDIA Graphics and AI Processing to Mission-Critical Field Teams

AI-ready mobile workstation precision-engineered for law enforcement forensics, crash investigation, military command centers, and 3D laser scanning

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DT Research, the leading U.S. designer and manufacturer of AI-capable, rugged computing solutions purpose-engineered for enterprise-scale customization, today announced the LT365PA Rugged Laptop, a high-performance mobile workstation that brings NVIDIA graphics, AI processing and advanced image analysis directly to law enforcement, forensic and military field operations, including mobile command environments that require local processing of multiple sensor inputs, video feeds, drone imagery and AI analytics.

“Today’s field teams need the same high-performance AI computing capabilities at the edge that they have in a traditional enterprise or tactical operations setting,” said Daw Tsai, president of DT Research.

“Today’s field teams need the same high-performance AI computing capabilities at the edge that they have in a traditional enterprise or tactical operations setting,” said Daw Tsai, president of DT Research. “The LT365PA combines discrete NVIDIA graphics and Intel Core Ultra processing with the ruggedness and hot-swappable battery architecture required for true field mobility. This gives teams the speed and flexibility to analyze complex data and make informed decisions wherever operations take them.”

DT Research is showcasing the LT365PA at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) 2026 Annual Conference and Exposition in Orlando, Florida, October 25–27, in booth 1387.

Bringing AI-Powered Forensic Processing to the Scene

Modern forensic investigations increasingly rely on high-resolution photos, video, 3D scans and other digital evidence, placing greater demands on traditional field computers. With NVIDIA RTX A2000 or RTX 5000A discrete graphics configurations, the LT365PA provides dedicated GPU performance for rendering, image analysis, AI processing and other data-intensive applications directly at the scene. This allows investigators to process and analyze complex visual and spatial data while evidence is still being collected.

Accelerating Crash Scene Investigation and Roadway Reopening

Crash reconstruction teams are under intense time pressure to capture highly accurate measurements and visual data while minimizing the time a roadway remains closed. The LT365PA enables imaging, visualization and 3D scanning applications used to document vehicle positions, roadway conditions and other evidence directly at the scene. With AI-capable workstation-class processing and rugged durability, investigators can review and validate collected data directly in the field. Dual hot-swappable batteries allow continuous operation without shutting down the system to change batteries, helping teams complete documentation efficiently and reopen roadways as quickly as possible.

Advancing Public Safety and Military Command and Control Operations

Today’s emergency response and military teams need to analyze data from multiple sensors, cameras and drones without relying on continuous cloud or data center connectivity. The LT365PA provides GPU-enabled edge computing to process video, imagery and sensor data locally for AI video analytics, operational modeling, mapping and situational awareness. It can also support multiple displays in mobile command environments ranging from field tents to response vehicles, helping teams maintain access to mission-critical data and analytics when network connectivity is limited or unavailable.

In military operations, the LT365PA provides the ruggedness and NVIDIA-powered computing performance required for command and control, 3D laser scanning and other visualization-intensive workflows in the field. A MIL-STD-3009 Class B night-vision display configuration supports low-light operations for either naked-eye or NVG viewing.

Built for Demanding Field Environments

The LT365PA combines Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 or 7 processing with features designed for outdoor and mission-critical use. A 15.6-inch, 1200-nit high-brightness touchscreen provides visibility in the field, with an optional 4K display available for applications requiring greater image detail. The system is IP65 rated for water and dust resistance and MIL-STD-810H certified. Its rugged enclosure combines ABS and PC plastic with magnesium-aluminum alloy. Optional security and connectivity features include a NIST-compliant BIOS, CAC card reader, 4G LTE and GPS.

Availability

The LT365PA Rugged Laptop will be available from authorized DT Research partners and resellers worldwide in Q1 2027.
