DT Research Debuts GMS-Enabled DA323EP Rugged Tablets for Logistics at MODEX 2026

A New Class of Large-Screen Rugged Tablets Deliver Real-Time Logistics Workflows Powered by Google Mobile Services

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DT Research, a U.S. leader in precision-engineered computing solutions designed for mission-critical and demanding environments, today announced the DA323EP GMS-enabled Android rugged tablet, a new class of large-screen rugged mobility for real-time logistics and warehouse workflows. With Google Mobile Services™ (GMS) built in, the DA323EP provides seamless access to Google applications and enterprise tools, enabling app-driven operations for tracking, navigation, communication, and data capture across the supply chain.

With GMS certification, the DA323EP provides native access to Google applications such as Maps, Gmail, and Drive, while supporting enterprise Zero-Touch, Google Play Protect enabled Mobile Device Management (MDM) and ensuring app compatibility and ongoing security updates. It also allows workers to use familiar tools for tasks like routing, while enabling IT teams to centrally deploy, manage, and update applications at scale.

DT Research will showcase the DA323EP rugged tablet at MODEX 2026, April 13–16 in Atlanta, where the company is exhibiting in Booth #C15188.

“GMS is a critical enabler for modern logistics environments where mobile applications drive every aspect of operations,” said Daw Tsai, president of DT Research. “With the DA323EP, organizations can leverage the full Android ecosystem, combined with rugged reliability, to streamline workflows from warehouse floors to transportation networks.”

Enabling Real-Time Transportation & Logistics Workflows

In transportation and logistics, timing, visibility, and accountability directly impact revenue. The DA323EP supports point-to-point tracking of goods and drivers, enabling organizations to monitor movement in real time using GPS-enabled applications and cloud-based platforms.

The DA323EP captures location data and workflow timestamps, enabling organizations to better track loading and unloading events, helping ensure drivers are properly compensated for time spent waiting at docks, which is an important factor in optimizing fleet efficiency and driver satisfaction.

With built-in wireless connectivity and optional 4G LTE, the DA323EP tablet ensures continuous communication between drivers, dispatch, and backend systems, reducing delays and improving operational transparency.

Optimized for Warehouse & Asset Management

The DA323EP introduces a new category for warehouse environments with a 13.3-inch large-screen display in a slim, lightweight design that sits between traditional tablets and laptops. This tablet makes it ideal for workers who need more screen real estate for applications such as inventory management, order picking, and asset tracking without the bulk of a standard laptop computer.

Its sunlight-readable display supports visibility across varied lighting conditions, while optional barcode scanning enables fast, accurate data capture directly into warehouse management systems.

“The combination of GMS and a larger display creates a more intuitive, application-driven experience for warehouse and field users,” said Kevin Tsai, vice president of product engineering at DT Research. “We designed the DA323EP to bridge the gap between mobility and usability to give workers the tools they need to interact with data more efficiently in real-time.”

Built for Always-On, Mission-Critical Environments

Engineered for demanding conditions, the DA323EP ensures reliable performance across warehouses, loading docks, delivery routes, and other mission-critical environments with these capabilities:

  • Hot-swappable batteries for uninterrupted 24/7 operation
  • IP65-rated water and dust resistance
  • MIL-STD-810H certification for shock and vibration protection
  • Qualcomm® 8-core processor with Android 13 OS for modern application support

Availability

The DA323EP Rugged Tablet will be available in Q2 2026 from authorized DT Research partners and resellers worldwide.
