The rankings are based on feedback from 18,000 interns across 250 internship programs nationwide, who participated in Vault's 2026 Annual Internship Survey. The survey evaluates programs using a weighted methodology that considers career development, employment prospects, quality of life, compensation, and culture of acceptance, with rankings driven by interns' firsthand experiences.
