RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As Communications Service Providers (CSPs) face mounting pressure to retire aging TDM switches, modernize signaling and simplify increasingly complex interconnection and routing arrangements, Transaction Network Services (TNS) today announced that it will exhibit and speak at the INCOMPAS Show, taking place November 1–3, 2026, at the Omni Nashville Hotel in Nashville, TN.

Panel Session: The IP Transition Is Here
On Monday, November 2, at 1:20 – 2:00 p.m., Joe Dechant, Vice President, Network Transformation Portfolio at TNS will join the panel session "The IP Transition Is Here: Competing Paths for the Future of Voice Interconnection.”
As the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) races to finalize its landmark IP transition and network modernization proceeding, an order is expected by early 2027 that will reshape how every voice network in the country connects, prices and plans. This panel session will break down where the FCC's deliberations stand, including the competing paths under consideration and what each would mean for interconnection costs, network planning and competitive positioning.
"The IP transition isn't a distant policy debate. It's the single biggest change coming for how voice traffic moves in this country, and it's already reshaping how CSPs need to think about their networks,” said Dechant. “TNS has been at the forefront of this shift for years, working with CSPs to modernize signaling, simplify interconnection and move off legacy TDM infrastructure well ahead of any FCC mandate.”
Dechant noted that whichever path the FCC ultimately chooses, CSPs are going to need real solutions to get there, not just a policy outcome, and that's exactly where TNS comes in. The INCOMPAS session will give attendees a clear read about where things stand, what to watch for as the FCC finalizes its order, and how TNS can help them get ahead of the transition rather than scrambling to react to it once it arrives.
TNS to Display Network Transformation Solutions
At Booth #500, TNS will showcase its portfolio of managed, cloud-based network transformation solutions, designed to help CSPs stabilize their networks and move off legacy infrastructure without disrupting service.
- Voice Transit Solution: Simplifying Interconnection and Supporting Network Modernization. TNS Voice Transit and TNS Hosted Cloud Connect help CSPs modernize legacy voice networks by simplifying interconnection, reducing reliance on TDM infrastructure and providing secure, scalable PSTN access across wireless, wireline and cable networks. Together, these solutions support the transition from aging switches with managed routing, voice peering, STIR/SHAKEN, fraud mitigation, call authentication, E911, N11 and 988 services. These capabilities ultimately help CSPs streamline network operations, lower infrastructure costs and prepare for future growth.
- TruOps Telecom Routing Administration (TRA): Successfully Routing and Rating 15 Billion Transactions Daily. Rounding out its showcase, TNS will feature TRA, the industry’s comprehensive and centralized source of call routing, rating, billing and numbering assignments for the U.S., Canada and Caribbean regions. In addition to simplifying asset and inventory management for more accurate and timely financial reporting, TRA helps improve network utilization, creates seamless interconnections and captures IP routing data, enabling alternate and failover IP paths that help ease the transition from TDM.
