The Cat in the Hat Gets Stringy as Kraft Natural Cheese brings a little mischief to the cheese aisle
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Snack time is getting a visit from one very famous Cat. Kraft Natural Cheese is teaming up with Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Warner Bros. Pictures Animation to bring “The Cat in the Hat” to limited-edition Kraft String Cheese packaging, alongside the brand’s playful Stringy character. The 12-count packs are available at retailers nationwide while supplies last. And with “The Cat in the Hat” new fully animated feature film arriving only in theaters on November 6, there couldn’t be a more fitting time for this debut.
The collaboration brings the unmistakable world of “The Cat in the Hat” to a snack families already know and love. Whether packed into lunchboxes, grabbed on the way out the door or handed over after practice, Kraft String Cheese is bringing a little Seussian spirit to snack time - with 7g of protein per serving and no Thing One or Thing Three required for Stringy. The packs mark a first: Kraft Natural Cheese’s playful string cheese character is making his packaging debut alongside the beloved Cat.
“‘The Cat in the Hat’ and Kraft String Cheese both have a way of bringing a little more fun to everyday family moments, which made this collaboration feel like a natural fit,” said Dhriti Batra, Director of Kraft Natural Cheese at Lactalis Heritage Dairy. “We’re especially excited to introduce Stringy on-pack for the first time - and we couldn’t think of a better character to show him how to make an entrance than our favorite trickster from the world of ‘The Cat in the Hat’!"

About The Cat in the Hat
Meet the Cat in the Hat you don’t know! In the wonderfully whimsical tradition of Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat comes to the big screen in his animated theatrical feature film debut, an all-new, epic adventure with an edge, where mischief, magic and mayhem reign supreme. Doing what he does best, the Cat—voiced by Bill Hader—spreads joy to kids in his hilarious, signature and singularly irreverent way, transporting them and audiences on a fantastical journey through a world they’ve never seen before. In the film, our hero takes on his toughest assignment yet for the I.I.I.I. (Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration, LLC): to cheer Gabby and Sebastian, a pair of siblings struggling with their move to a new town. Known for taking things too far, this could be this agent of chaos’s last chance to prove himself...or lose his magical hat!
Starring alongside Hader are Matt Berry, Quinta Brunson, Xochitl Gomez, with Giancarlo Esposito, and America Ferrera. Tituss Burgess, Bowen Yang, Paula Pell and Tiago Martinez also star.
The Cat in the Hat is directed by Erica Rivinoja and Alessandro Carloni from their own screenplay, screen story by Caroline Williams, based on the book by Dr. Seuss and in partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises. It is produced by Daniela Mazzucato and Jared Stern. The executive producers are Bill Hader, Susan Brandt, Bill Damaschke, Kelly Marcel and Steve Zissis, Tim Story and Alex Timbers. It is edited by Dan Molina, with music by Lorne Balfe.
Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s first full-length feature film, The Cat in the Hat, comes to theaters and IMAX® across North America on November 6, 2026, distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
