Chaudhary has been part of FundingShield’s leadership team since its acquisition by Pelican Point Investment Group (PPIG), the merchant banking and private equity platform that invested capital, operating experience and resources to develop and scale the business.

Today, FundingShield operates as a technology infrastructure layer helping clients manage risk, compliance and fraud across the mortgage lifecycle. Serving hundreds of clients and having processed in excess of $5 trillion in transactions, the company combines proprietary technology with real-time source data to identify, prevent, validate and remediate risk in real time.

Recognized as an Inc. 5000 company, FundingShield has followed a disciplined, largely bootstrapped strategy—building a sustainable, profitable and debt-free business while managing both top- and bottom-line performance. This reflects a playbook Suri has applied throughout his career acquiring, building and scaling businesses: disciplined capital allocation, human capital recruitment, operational execution and long-term enterprise value creation.

“Adam has been an important partner in building FundingShield and translating our strategy into execution,” said Ike Suri, CEO of FundingShield. “We have built a sustainable, profitable and debt-free enterprise while continuously investing in our technology, people and clients. His appointment strengthens operating accountability as we expand our capabilities and pursue the considerably larger opportunity ahead.”

As COO, Chaudhary will oversee day-to-day execution across technology, product, finance, marketing and client delivery. As CEO, Suri will continue leading corporate strategy, capital allocation, institutional relationships, strategic partnerships, product and market expansion, and long-term enterprise development.

“I am excited to take on a more active role in executing our strategy as FundingShield enters its next phase of growth,” said Chaudhary. “We have built a strong foundation, and I look forward to working alongside Ike and our leadership team to scale the organization, develop our people and accelerate our expansion.”

FundingShield is extending its infrastructure capabilities across the full mortgage lifecycle—from origination and closing through investor delivery, securitization and capital markets. Its digital certification creates auditable evidence of verified transaction data, establishing a form of digital provenance designed to be leveraged throughout the life of the loan.

To support this expansion, FundingShield recently hired Charles Epperson as Senior Vice President of Technology and Operations and plans to continue developing internal talent while selectively strengthening its executive leadership, potentially including a seasoned industry executive in the President role.
