Fort Worth Business Journal Launches as ACBJ Expands
FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American City Business Journals, the nation’s largest publisher of local business news and information, has added to its portfolio with the launch of the Fort Worth Business Journal. With this expansion, ACBJ is now operational in 46 U.S. cities.
A daily digital publication, the FWBJ website went live Oct. 1 with its weekday newsletter hitting inboxes Oct. 5. From the latest real estate deals to small-business coverage to exclusive market research, the newsroom is committed to keeping the local community in the know and one step ahead of its competition.
“As news publishers across the industry contract, ACBJ will continue to invest in areas where we see a significant need to deliver our signature business intelligence,” said Whitney Shaw, CEO of ACBJ. “As the 10th-largest U.S. city, entering the Fort Worth market was the logical next step in our expansion.”
In Texas, ACBJ has existing operations in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
As part of the FWBJ launch, ACBJ will debut new tools and member benefits like BizGeo and Follows, among other products. BizGeo is an interactive map that allows readers to track new construction projects from building permits to finished developments. Follows, an added feature under ACBJ’s existing BizNotify platform, will enable members to “follow” specific organizations as they make headlines.
The FWBJ newsroom includes Editorial Team Lead Julia Masters, Senior Reporter Seth Bodine and Reporter Samantha Thornfelt. If you have news or want to make the introduction, reach out to the team directly. And sign up today for exclusive newsletters and follow FWBJ on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
