The Best One Yet Launches Two New Franchises in Partnership With Nasdaq

Partnership Expands Creator-Led Storytelling, Helping Companies Reach and Engage a New Generation of Investors

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Best One Yet (TBOY), the daily pop-business news podcast with over 150 million lifetime downloads, today announced two new franchises launching in partnership with Nasdaq.

Ringing in something new: The TBOY 10 power rankings + The IPO Show, live from Nasdaq MarketSite

Share

The TBOY 10: A weekly power ranking of the 10 companies shaping the business world, cultural trends, and society. The ranking will be informed by Nasdaq’s trending tickers, the Nasdaq-listed companies with the largest recent increases in trading activity, among other qualitative and quantitative data. It will be distributed on the podcast and its YouTube and social media channels.

The IPO Show: An exclusive interview series produced at the Nasdaq MarketSite studio in Times Square, featuring interviews with CEOs and founders of the most innovative public and private companies, as well as behind-the-scenes access to companies on their IPO day.

TBOY will retain full editorial independence across all content produced under the partnership.

The two franchises pair TBOY’s creator-led voice with direct access to the companies shaping public and private markets, reaching investors in the formats and on the platforms where they increasingly get their news.

For Nasdaq-listed companies, the partnership creates a new opportunity to reach a fast-growing, creator-led audience, complementing the visibility Nasdaq’s platform already provides its clients.

“The media and market landscape is evolving, and the way investors discover and engage with companies is changing with it,” said Joe Brantuk, Chief Client Officer at Nasdaq. “Nasdaq’s role is to help companies reach investors with the information and intelligence they need. This partnership extends that commitment, creating a powerful new way for companies to reach investors where they are increasingly listening.”

“When we launched this show in 2018, the whole idea was that business news could be the most entertaining part of your day,” said Nick Martell and Jack Crivici-Kramer, Co-Founders of The Best One Yet. “It should feel like talking to your most fun friend who happens to be a Wall Street insider. Now, that friend has a studio in Times Square and access to some of the most influential CEOs on the planet.”

“The access Nasdaq is giving us — a studio in Times Square and a front-row seat to the biggest IPOs in the world — is incredible for a creator-led media company," said Rebecca Steinberg, Creators Agent at UTA and Nick & Jack’s representative. "That tells you everything about where this industry is heading — and we plan to be at the forefront of it.”
