Woodford Reserve Celebrates 30 Years With Exclusive Anniversary Releases

VERSAILLES, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Woodford Reserve is celebrating its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of setting the gold standard for super-premium American whiskey and pioneering modern bourbon tourism.

To honor this milestone, the distillery is launching two limited-edition releases for whiskey enthusiasts available in October at the distillery in Woodford County.

The 30th Anniversary Releases:

  • Distillery Series: Triple Pot Still
    • Features 100% whiskey distilled at Woodford Reserve through three copper pot stills. Woodford Reserve was unique when it launched since it used pot stills, rather than column stills, to distill most whiskey.
    • Showcases the traditional, robust flavor profile that defines the historic distillery site.
    • It will be available at the distillery gift shop for $64.99 starting October 7.
  • Limited-Edition Personal Selection and Ceramic Decanter
    • Created exclusively by Louisville Stoneware
    • Offered with a personal selection of Double Oaked Single Barrel, selected by Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall.
    • Available for purchase solely at the Woodford Reserve Distillery gift shop starting October 16.

“From the beginning of the brand, Woodford Reserve has enticed consumers by our unique bottle design and our flavorful liquid, featuring more than 200 flavor notes,” Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall said. “It’s now the top-selling super-premium American whiskey in the world and continues to grow, both in the United States and globally.”

Since its introduction in October 1996, Woodford Reserve has helped transform the global whiskey landscape. By balancing time-honored traditional methods with modern innovation, the brand helped elevate bourbon into the luxury spirit category.

As a charter member of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, Woodford Reserve also redefined bourbon tourism. The historic distillery welcomes more than 200,000 visitors annually.
