CampusESP Launches Slate Suitcase+ to Put Family Engagement Intelligence Directly Into Slate

The expanded integration gives admissions teams actionable family engagement data to support recruitment, application, and yield strategy.

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CampusESP today announced the CampusESP Slate Suitcase+, an expansion of its integration with Slate by Technolutions. Built for schools using CampusESP alongside Slate, the enhanced integration brings actionable family engagement data and enrollment funnel insights directly into Slate so enrollment teams can see family engagement alongside student funnel data, identify high-interest families, and act on those signals without leaving the system they work in every day.

The CampusESP Slate Suitcase+ expands the integration with new enrollment funnel reporting and richer family engagement data inside Slate, giving admissions teams a clearer view of how family engagement connects to application progress and yield.

The CampusESP Slate Suitcase+ expands the integration with new enrollment funnel reporting and richer family engagement data inside Slate, giving admissions teams a clearer view of how family engagement connects to student behavior, application progress, and yield.

What's new in the CampusESP Slate Suitcase+

The expanded release adds three capabilities:

  • Funnel Snapshot: See how many CampusESP families sit at each stage of the enrollment funnel, from inquiry through enrolled, along with average Parent Promoter Score™, helping teams identify where family engagement is strongest or weakest.
  • Funnel Conversion: See how students progress through the funnel based on family engagement, helping enrollment teams understand how different engagement levels connect to application and yield outcomes.
  • Family engagement tab on the student record: A new CampusESP Parent Engagement tab on student records in Slate lists the family members related to that student, their relationship, account status, most recent activity, and Parent Promoter Score. Admissions staff can surface actionable family data alongside the student record and use those signals to influence day-to-day recruitment activity.

This builds on the existing two-way Slate integration: student data flows from Slate into CampusESP to power personalized family communication, while family engagement insights flow back into Slate. The integration syncs 28 fields, including Parent Promoter Score, with flexibility to add more.

Why it matters

Families play a significant role in where students apply and enroll. Schools using CampusESP have seen that parents in the top quartile of engagement are 3x more likely to have a student enroll. With CampusESP Slate Suitcase+, teams can more easily prioritize outreach to the students whose families are most engaged or appear to need extra support, personalize recruitment based on real intent signals, and see where family engagement is helping or lagging at each stage of the funnel.

For enrollment leaders, that adds up to better forecasting, more targeted yield strategy, and a stronger case for the role families play in hitting enrollment goals.

"Families are constantly telling you something through their engagement," said Dave Becker, CEO and co-founder of CampusESP. "CampusESP’s Slate Suitcase+ puts those signals directly into the workflow admissions teams already use every day. Teams can see which families are engaged, where students are in the funnel, and use that information to influence recruitment and yield strategy."

A Slate Preferred Partner

CampusESP is a Slate Preferred Partner, and more than half of its customers run both platforms. Slate gives enrollment teams command of the entire student journey, and CampusESP for Student Enrollment adds the family side of it, measuring parent interest, prompting the next step, and turning that engagement into enrolled students. With the CampusESP Slate Suitcase+, the signals from students and from their families sit in one view, giving schools a sharper read on where their next enrolled class is coming from.
